Monica Jefferson

Monica Lynn Jefferosn was born August 26, 1965 to the parentage of the late Walter and Birdie Mae Jefferson in Texarkana, TX. She graduated from Arkansas High school, class of 1985. She worked at Skibelle's ladies boutique and Church's Chicken until her health failed. She was baptized at College Hill Baptist church at an early age, she was a faithful member. Monica lived in Hope, Arkansas, where she regularly attended New Life church of Hope. She loved celebrating her birthdays & Christmas with friends, family and the residents of Horizon of Hope.

Monica is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Birdie Mae Jefferson McBride; four brothers, William C. Jefferson, Eddie J. Jefferson, Tyrone Jefferson and Hollis C. Jefferson, Sr; one sister, Clovice Nelson.

Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her surviving loved ones: Daughters - Kela T. Jefferson of Houston, TX & Elisha M. Jefferson of Grand Prairie, TX; Three brothers: Michael R. Ross (Debra) of Oceanside, CA, Bryant K. Jefferson of Harrisburg, PA and Julio Jefferson (Melissa) of Antioch, CA.; Three sisters: Yvonne Murphy of Catonsville, Maryland, Martha G. Jefferson of Houston, TX and Kim J. Hunter (Robert) of Shreveport, LA; One aunt - Reeomia Frazier of Texarkana, AR; Two sister in laws - Sheila Jeffeson of Texarkana, TX & Claudia Jefferson of Texarkana, AR; One special nephew - Michael J. Washington of Texarkana, TX; Special friend - James E. Gully of Prescott, AR; A host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
