Iva “ASAP” Dwayne Harris, a dedicated family man and esteemed employee of Tyson Foods, passed away on April 29, 2026, in Texarkana, Arkansas. Born on October 10, 1980, in Inglewood, California, Mr. Harris was known for his God-fearing nature, loving spirit, and unwavering commitment to those around him. Throughout his life, he exemplified qualities of compassion and vigilance, always looking out for everyone in his circle.
Mr. Harris's career at Tyson Foods was marked by diligence and dedication, reflecting his work ethic and perseverance. Beyond his professional achievements, he was an avid chess player, engaging his mind thoughtfully and strategically in this classic game.
He was a devoted family man, and his presence enriched the lives of many. He is survived by his life partner, Rachael Matlock, and his children: Dwayne, Shawn, Makayla, and Ciara Coleman. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Korsen and Leah, who brought great joy into his life. Additionally, Mr. Harris is remembered fondly by his Aunt Lana Savannah and Uncle Jerry Green, who remains a beloved member of his family circle. Mr. Harris also leaves behind his siblings Luredena, and Shermaine Moses, and Holly Flournoy. Mr. Harris also had a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Harris was a music lover and would spend time listening to and making music.
Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Elizabeth Moses, whose memory he carried with honor. His Grandmother Lurdean Burton, and his Grandfather Larry Campbell.
Services to honor Mr. Harris's life have been arranged at Four States Funeral Home, located at 601 Pine Street in Texarkana, Texas. A visitation will be held on May 15, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service on May 16, 2026, beginning at 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. These ceremonies provide an opportunity for family, friends, and community members to come together to celebrate a life characterized by faith, love, and devotion.
Iva Dwayne Harris’s memory will endure in the hearts of those who knew him, standing as a testament to his commitment to family, his faith, and the quiet strength he imparted through his everyday actions.
